Our old skylights were those outdated, rounded plastic ones—and they didn’t just let in light… they amplified every single sound outside. ⚡️E-Bikes: Fast, Fun... and Kinda Out of Control?

The Town Council just held a public session on e-bike safety after a spike in kids zipping around town on what are essentially mini-motorcycles. Helmets? Optional. Speed? Up to 30 mph. Legal? Not always.

Here’s the Scoop:

🚲 E-bikes come in 3 classes (some require riders to be 16+).
⚠️ Many parents are unknowingly buying full motorbikes marketed as e-bikes.
🚔 Danville PD is cracking down: more fines, more impounds.
📣 Education push incoming: Schools, PTAs, HOAs—all getting looped in.
🧑‍⚖️ Town wants more control: They’re pushing for local power to regulate, not just follow state rules.
