Tuesday, we asked your thoughts about performing in the Danville’s Senior Vairety Show and the responses were fairly split, with some pretty strong opinions on both sides.

👍 Yes took the edge with 66% of you saying, “Sounds great to me!”

Among the yay-sayers, there was the expected enthusiasm to show off their singing, dancing, and special talents.

Just remember: You need to submit a Performer Proposal Form to The Town of Danville. Auditions for the show will be held Wednesday July 2nd from 9 AM-1 PM at the Village Theatre at 233 Front Street.

Could we crisp up a hundred toast puns in this section? Sure, but we won’t burn you with that. They are super crumby…

Moving on. Ever found yourself sick and tired of the same old toast every morning wishing there was something else out there? Look no futher! Toastique is a fresh take on modern, fresh dining with some of the most creative toast options around. Just check this toast out!

Vista Park Playground Renovation Underway

Who loves splinters? Definitely not our kids. Which is why we are over the moon that Vista Park Playground is going through a transformation. Shaded picnic areas, game tables, benches throughout the play space (to keep an eye on wandering littles)? Yes, please. The project includes updated exercise equipment and fresh landscaping to complete the transformation. The playground will be suited for younger and older children and will include slides, musical instruments, swings, and an electronic pulse table tennis game.

Completion ancticipated in late fall 2025
Playground will be closed during the renovation

💥 ComicCon Livermore Ready to see all things geek culture? Including a cosplay contest, anime and toy vendors, special guest appearances, and more. Free and open to the public. 11 AM. Livermore Valley Arts.

🤪🤪 Shane Gillis is lifting up moods with his hybrid of cringe humor and “bro” culture humor at SAP Center at San Jose. Show starts at 8 PM.

Summer Nights in Danville 🎵

Danville is brining back their 2025 Moonlight Movies and Music in the Park series! There will be a concert or movie scheduled each week, free 💸 Their Free Concerts and Movies Series continue this Friday night starting at 6:30 PM showing Field of Dreams when the sun goes down.
